Shapes in Math!

Kindergarten has moved on to a new unit in math....SHAPES! We spoke about the difference between flat shapes and 3D shapes. They even went through the names of various 3D shapes. The children also got the opportunity to go on a scavenger hunt to find the shapes we learned about throughout our class. They were so creative! Kindergarten was also introduced to a new center...building shapes with various objects like magna tiles!
